The Elks National Foundation is the charitable arm of Elkdom. Established in 1928 by the Grand Lodge, it is a permanent trust fund, with the specific purpose of furthering our Order’s charitable and educational programs. It is known as the “Great Heart of Elkdom” supported entirely by voluntary gifts. The principle is never touched, only the interest is used for the philanthropic purposes which demonstrate that Elks care—Elks share.

The fund is administered by a Board of Trustees who provide valuable experience, expertise and personal service to the Foundation without charge. Consequently, each dollar donated to ENF goes to the charitable work to which we are dedicated. No income is used for “overhead expenses” or “administrative costs”. Rarely do you hear of any charitable organization that can make such a statement.

When you give to the Elks National Foundation, you’re doing more than funding the Elks National Drug Awareness and "Hoop Shoot" programs. You’re doing more than supporting the Community Investments Program and providing Emergency Educational Grants to the children of deceased or totally disabled Elks. You’re doing more than maintaining the Elks Veterans Memorial.  You are breathing life into the very heart of our Order meeting the ongoing needs of our youth, our veterans, communities, and this great country in which we are privileged to live.
